Badminton Calendar 2021

The Badminton World Federation successfully concluded the Yonex French Open championship on Sunday 31st October 2021.

BWF in August this year released a fresh calendar for 2021 and committed to deliver all the announced tournaments without any further postponements and provide players a structured platform to play and earn much need ranking points and prize money.

Post Tokyo Olympics the badminton governing body kicked off the tour with biannual events like the Sudirman Cup and Thomas & Uber Cup. BWF then moved on from team events to Superseries with the Denmark Open and French Open.

The SaarLorLux Open in Saarbrücken, Germany has been upgraded to HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 status and will be played under the new name of Hylo Open 2021 between 02nd - 07th November.

The Hylo Open will mark the end of BWF’s European leg.

As 2021 comes to an end, here is a brief look at the left-out events.

After a two-week break, the top players will be back in action in Bali with the Indonesia Masters, Indonesia Open, and the World Tour Finals, as per the calendar.
